Silent Hill's Midwich Elementary School Explored in First-Person

Headware Games' Nath demonstrated the iconic location through the eyes of Harry Mason.

Game Developer at Headware Games known only as Nath has recently delighted thousands of Silent Hill fans worldwide by offering a unique and unusual look at the Midwich Elementary School from the original SH game.

Revisiting one of the game's most iconic locations, Nath reimagined the legendary horror as a first-person game, exploring the school's halls through the eyes of Silent Hill's protagonist, Harry Mason. The secret behind the demo is quite simple, with the developer revealing that it was set up by faking walking using the freecam mode in the Silent Hill Level Viewer.

If you are a fan of Silent Hill and similar-style games, we also recommend taking a look at Hollowbody, a tech-noir survival horror game the Headware Games team is currently working on. Set in a long-abandoned British city, Hollowbody tasks you to find a way out of its decaying concrete labyrinth, solving environmental puzzles, managing resources, and fighting enemies as you go.

The game offers classic survival horror gameplay inspired by early 2000s horror titles, a blend of dynamic and fixed camera angles, a mesmerizing retro-style dystopian world, and even special accessibility options for those players who prefer exploration over combat.
