Moon Studios, renowned for the Metroidvania Ori series, has ventured into a new genre with the action RPG No Rest for the Wicked now available in early access. Moon Studios CEO Thomas Mahler emphasizes the seriousness and longevity of Wicked, suggesting fans not expect a new Ori anytime soon.
"Well, I hope now you folks understand why we won't be making Ori 3 any time soon," Mahler added.
Mahler likened No Rest for the Wicked to The Lord of the Rings film trilogy on Twitter and encouraged positive reviews on Steam, acknowledging the game's current state while pledging to enhance it.
Upon completion of early access, No Rest for the Wicked will expand to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, although Moon Studios has yet to announce a release timeline.
